  • Often leads to certification or graduation

  • May include business training, internships, and final projects

📘 Courses

Definition: A course is a single subject or class focused on one specific skill or topic.

Features of a Course:

  • Focuses on one topic (e.g., Basic Tailoring)

  • Can be standalone or part of a program

  • Shorter in duration (e.g., 1 day to 6 weeks)

  • May be taken for skill upgrade or as a first step into a program

  • Leads to a certificate of completion (not always a full qualification)

Example at EB Vocational College:

A student can take just the "Soft Furnishing" course to learn how to make curtains and throw pillows — or take it as part of the Interior Decoration Program.
